Amtrak is running a promotion where children aged 2 to 12 can travel for free when accompanied by an adult who has paid the standard fare. The offer applies to travel in Coach cars (Coach) and private compartments (First Class) between Lorton, Virginia and Sanford, Florida stations. Bookings must be made at least 3 days prior to departure between May 7 and September 6, 2026. The travel period will last from May 10 to September 11, 2026, with no blackout dates.
