On August 25, you can take a trip to a national park and save the entrance fee for something more enjoyable. In honor of the National Park Service's 110th anniversary, admission to participating parks and other NPS sites will be free. Free dates in 2026 also include September 17, October 27, and November 11. Over 400 National Park Service sites are open nationwide, so it's worth checking in advance what's near you and participating in the free day.
