Visa and Mastercard have agreed to a $167.5 million settlement resolving claims over inflated access fees at independent automated teller machines. Eligible claimants include US consumers who paid an unreimbursed surcharge to withdraw cash from a non-bank ATM between October 24, 2007, and August 14, 2026. Individual payouts will be distributed on a pro-rata basis depending on the total qualifying transactions submitted. Class members can file a claim online or by phone before the final deadline on February 10, 2027.
